Bath Medical Museum have many resources to help support schools deliver the GCSE History of Medicine curriculum. If you are looking for an engaging way to bring the subject to life, please get in touch today to arrange an informal conversation.

We can visit your school to support learning or host small groups in central Bath. We’re based in Great Pulteney Street in the Doctor’s surgery – a historic building in it’s own right, and have many intriguing items on display that will help students learn about the history of medicine in a real medical environment.

Many of our speakers hold a medical qualification. They bring a new angle to the curriculum, with particular attention to how medicine has changed over time, and why. With our unique context and setting we can help students to understand the link between medical science and the arts.
