Dr. Rolls is a medical historian and retired General Practitioner. He has many years experience in the field of medicine and is a former Partner of The Pulteney Practice in Bath. Dr. Rolls is an authority on the medical history of Bath and, in particular, the former Royal Mineral Water Hospital. His published works include The Hospital of the Nation: The Story of Spa Medicine and the Mineral Water Hospital at Bath, published in 1988 by Bird Publications, and Diseased, Douched and Doctored: Thermal Springs, Spa Doctors and Rheumatic Diseases, published in 2012 by London Publishing Partnership. Dr. Rolls has been Chair of Bath Medical Museum’s Board of Trustees since 2017.
